Peacock Players Alumni
Garret Hawe

Garett Hawe grew up in Hollis, NH – and performed with Peacock Players from 1998-2004. It was at Peacock Players that he found a second home and where he discovered his love for performing. Among his countless productions, his favorite Peacock Players credits include: Marius in Les Misérables: The School Edition, Ugly in Honk!, and the Leading Player in Pippin.

Upon graduating from high school, Garett traveled the country in the First National Tour of Oklahoma!. While performing eight shows a week, he got a taste of the “real world” and fell further in love with the business of show. While Broadway and NYC were indeed calling his name, Garett made the decision to focus his next few years on his training. He was accepted and attended the prestigious University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 2009.

Garett made the move to NYC with the rest of his classmates, and has been fortunate enough to work as a professional actor ever since. His Broadway credits include: Newsies, Mary Poppins, and Matilda. He has been seen in the national tours of The 101 Dalmations Musical, Mary Poppins, Hello Dolly, and Wicked. His TV credits include NBC’s Peter Pan Live!, Nurse Jackie, Dancing with the Stars, as well as live performances on The Tony Awards, The View, and Good Morning America. Regionally, Garett has performed at North Shore Music Theatre, Sacramento Music Circus, Pioneer Theater Company, and most recently, as Tulsa in Gypsy at The Cape Playhouse, starring Julia Murney.

Garett was recently seen on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre in the highly acclaimed revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, directed by three-time Tony winner Jack O’Brien, and choreographed by NYC Ballet’s resident choreographer Justin Peck. Garett can currently be seen on the national tour of Hello Dolly! starring Betty Buckley.

Garett is forever grateful to Peacock Players for the training, support, and his life-long friendships.
