WHAT TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS

Please memorize and prepare a one minute monologue in the style of the show that compliments both your vocal and physical acting talents. Please bring a headshot or photo, a resume or list of theatre experience (if any), and your own sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. Please note: that you may audition for ALICE IN WONDERLAND, LITTLE WOMEN and Disney’s FROZEN Jr. at the same audition time, however you will need an additional musical selection to audition for LITTLE WOMEN & Disney’s FROZEN Jr.

Peacock Players Mainstage Callbacks will be held by invitation only.

If you are unavailable to attend callbacks on this date, please inform the audition monitor and production team during your initial audition.

The invited Callback List will be posted by midnight following the second night of auditions.
The final cast list will be posted by 6:00pm on Saturday, August 31st.

REHEARSALS

Alice In Wonderland will rehearse Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 – 9:00pm (beginning on Thursday, September 5th). Peacock Players will host an orientation meeting for this production on Wednesday, September 4th from 6:00 – 7:30pm, prior to the first rehearsal.

Please note that actors may or may not be called to all rehearsals, but should plan to make themselves available. Please be prepared to list all known rehearsal conflicts on your audition form.

Tech Week rehearsals begin on Sunday October 13th with an extended rehearsal schedule. Tech week rehearsals are scheduled for Sunday October 13th through Thursday October 17th from 5:30 – 10:00pm.

All cast members are expected to attend all Performances and all Tech Week rehearsals.

TECHNiCAL DiFFiCULTiES Improv Comedy Troupe

Open auditions for Ages 14 – 18. All Troupe positions available.

WHAT TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS

All students interested in auditioning for the improv comedy troupe do not need to pre-schedule audition appointments (as they do for Mainstage productions). Students interested in auditioning are simply asked to show up at 10:00am sharp on Saturday, September 7th. Please be prepared to stay the entire time (until 1:00pm), but we may release people earlier as audition requirements allow. The audition will consist of several different group improvisational theatre exercises, so please dress comfortably and be prepared to move freely. We will be evaluating applicants on their vocal and physical instruments, fearlessness, inventiveness, sense of humor, and potential troupe chemistry.
