Our Program

Peacock Players Summer Theatre Camp is proud to provide students with theatre arts education that encourages, informs, and challenges its students. Our goal is to build a fun, safe, and creative space for kids to explore the performing arts in Nashua and to grow the next generation of Peacock Players performers. Whether your child is brand new to performing or a seasoned veteran of the stage, our camp provides an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover.

Our Campers

Campers will spend each week immersed in theatre, music, and dance, all in preparation for a variety showcase performance for their friends and family at the end of each session. Rising 1st through 9th grade campers are welcome!

Our Sessions

Each unique session is designed to work as a standalone camp week, or as a complement to the other sessions. Whether your camper attends one, two, or all five sessions, each week will be a fun and unique experience.

Please continue reading to learn about our (5) unique and exciting weeklong camps, which take place at 14 Court Street in downtown Nashua. Each week-long session is $350.

Our Staff

Each camp session is instructed by experienced theatre artists who have been selected and trained for their expertise in motivating and guiding young performers. Our camp is led by Amelia English, Camp Lead, and Elle Millar, Executive Director, with a staff of counselors and assistant counselors with a wide variety of artistic skills. Camp staff members are also First Aid and CPR certified.

Camp Sessions

Tuition: $350 per week

 

Week 1: LEGENDARY COMPOSERS WEEK

  Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19

Each group will perform musical theatre numbers from a legendary composer from Broadway history. From Sondheim to Webber, we’re exploring the best that Broadway has to offer!

 

Week 2: GETTING SPOOKY WEEK

  Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26

Something creepy this way comes… Let’s bring Halloween to July with a weird week filled with goblins, ghouls, and some musical theatre!

 

Week 3: ALL ABOUT THE MOUSE WEEK
Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2

We’re pulling our favorite Broadway Disney tunes for this one! Just let it go, say “hakuna matata”, and be our guest!

 

Week 4: ROCK & ROLL WEEK

Monday, August 5 – Friday, August 9

Let’s get ready to ROCK! We’re taking a look at some of the best rock musicals that Broadway has produced, from Rock of Ages to Rent!

 

Week 5: HOLLYWOOD WEEK

Monday, August 12 – Friday, August  16

Get ready for your close up! This is the week dedicated to musicals inspired by Hollywood movies or musicals that were turned into movies! Strike a pose and walk the red carpet with us!

Camp Hours

Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Pick Up Window 4pm-5pm

Camp Care registration will be provided during the enrollment process.

(Please note that there will be no before or after care this year. We are moving to a singular model with a flexible pick up window from 4-5pm)

Peacock Players is proud to offer financial assistance to our students and families in need. Applications for the Peacock Players Scholarship Fund are open from now through June 1st. Please click here to apply.

How To Register For Camp

1) Complete and submit our online Registration Form

Click the button below to register your Camper(s). Submit (1) form per family.

 

**REGISTRATION WILL OPEN JANUARY 11th**

2) Receive Confirmation Message and Email

Once you have submitted your online Registration Form, an automatic message of receipt shall appear. Within (14) business days we will email you a link to your personalized INVOICE, which will indicate your total tuition balance and payment instructions.

If you do not hear from us within (14) business days, please check your spam folder and/or email [email protected].

3) Submit Payment within (14) Days

*** Please note that if you are registering after June 3, FULL TUITION will be due within (14) business days. ***  In order to secure your Camper(s) enrollment, including any discounts, please submit either a full tuition payment or a non-refundable deposit of $100 per Camper per week, within (14) days of receiving our Confirmation Email (see above). For example, if you have (2) Campers attending (2) weeks of camp, your non-refundable deposit will total $400. Deposits and full tuition payments may be paid online via the invoice you will be emailed within (14) days of submitting your initial Registration Form. Please note there is a $3.00 processing fee for all credit card transactions. Alternately, you may pay by check mailed to:

Please make all checks payable to Peacock Players and write your Camper(s) name in the memo line.

* If you have applied for Peacock Players Tuition Assistance, you do not need to submit a deposit at this time. Our Scholarship Committee will be in touch with their decisions by June 10th, 2023.

4) Complete Additional Camper Information Forms and Pay Outstanding Tuition Balance by June 7th, 2024

All online Camper Information Forms will be emailed to you in early May. Said forms must be submitted on-line and all outstanding tuition balances paid by Friday, June 7th, 2024, at the latest. All forms and payments must be received before Campers may attend camp. *** Please note that if you are registering after June 7th onward, FULL TUITION will be due within (14) business days. ***

Thank you for understanding that if camp must be conducted virtually due to COVID-19 safety considerations, no tuition refunds will be offered.
