ABOUT THE SHOW

Join Peacock Players’ finest talent in a cabaret-style production celebration the most wonderful season of all! This production features holiday favorites, hilarious moments, and a whole lot of cheer.

AUDITIONS

Auditions for this production will take place on Thursday, October 10th and Friday, October 11th from 6:30-9:00. Pre-Registration is highly recommended and the link can be found below.

The initial audition will consist of a singing audition (please review the requirements below) and a memorized short poem excerpt. There will be no callbacks for this production. We will be casting ages 10-18.

There are no specific roles for this production. This will be a combination of solos, duets/trios, and full ensemble numbers featuring a variety of holiday favorites. Specific song titles will be decided during the casting process and tailored to those cast.

Audition Requirements:

Please prepare a 32 bar ( approximately 30 second) cut from a holiday song of your choice. Come with a backing track and a device to play it on. Please ALSO prepare one of these three short poem excerpts.

Your audition song AND poem excerpt should be memorized and show your ability to portray the character’s emotions, mannerisms, etc. There will be no dance at these auditions. Please bring a device to play your accompaniment track on, such as a smartphone.

Please note: There is a $175 tuition to participate in this MainStage production. If the tuition would create a hardship for your family, please apply for a scholarship.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will be held twice a week on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Tech Week rehearsals are mandatory and are December 9th-12th. See the full rehearsal calendar here.
