Peacock Players’ Resident Artists work with you one-on-one for upcoming audition preparation, vocal technique development, and creating a healthy sound. These one on one lessons are designed individually for students of all ages. Space is limited.

Piano, Music Composition, and Theory Lessons

Carli Hamilton is excited to be offering private voice lessons through Peacock Players. Carli has been involved in theatre, music, and performance education for nearly a decade.

She has been privileged to work as a Director, Music Director, Choreographer, and performer. Carli’s most recent production team positions include Footloose: Youth Edition, Six: Teen Edition, and Legally Blonde JR with Peacock Players.

Prior to their time in education, Carli enjoyed a thrilling professional career in theatre and music performance, both on and off Broadway, leading to exciting opportunities such as touring the world with the Boston based rock band “Hot Mess”! They focus lessons on classical technique, vocal pedagogy, safety, and vocal health management. All voice types and ages are welcome!

Michelle Ladew

Piano, Music Composition, and Theory Lessons

Michelle Ladew is a classically trained pianist who has enjoyed an eventful music career spanning over 20 years. She is an award-winning musician in composition, piano performance, vocal coaching, acting coaching, and musical direction. The North Shore Music Theater honored her with a spotlight award as best musical director for her work on Jesus Christ Superstar.

Michelle holds a BA in piano performance cum laude from Plymouth State University. Upon graduation, PSU offered her a faculty position as a collaborative pianist. . As a collaborative pianist at PSU she worked full-time supporting vocalists and instrumentalists, attending lessons, private rehearsals, vocal coaching, assistant musical directing, and performances at recitals and competitions. She also enjoyed musical directing opportunities, and public piano performances.

In Boston, she continued her musical studies at The New England Conservatory with Douglas Buys, a world-renowned teacher – and Elle’s uncle! She’s worked at several public and private schools. Participating in several Musical Theatre International competitions, she assisted The Tyngsboro School district in earning awards for performances. In 2004 she started her own Boston based music school. She welcomes all ages, all levels, and varied musical repertoire.

Susan Mianulli

Voice Lessons: Musical Theatre and Classical Styles

Mrs. Susan Mianulli has been teaching voice for the past 30 years having enjoyed teaching students as young as 8 and as old as 75. No matter the age, she insists on teaching technique that will enable each student to sing comfortably thus allowing the voice to grow naturally.  With good singing technique, students will enjoy increased vocal range as well as a fuller sound. Mrs. Mianulli is comfortable teaching in both Classical and Broadway genres.

She has served as a MA District Chorus adjudicator and enjoys prepping students for auditions. Mrs. Mianulli holds an MFA in Voice from Penn State University and is retired from the Choral Music Director position she held for 25 years at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, MA. She resides in Groton with her two cats, Miley and Callie.

During her 25 year tenure as Director of Choral Music at Nashoba Regional High School, her students performed in Symphomy Hall and were invited to be Tanglewood Fellows. A Nashoba student auditioned for the Grammy Awards Jazz Choir and was accepted for three consecutive years traveling to LA and attending the Grammy Awards Ceremony. This same student also appeared on American Idol  and made it to Hollywood.
Mrs. Mianukli was a Metropolitan Opera Awards  Regional semi- finalist. She has enjoyed voice teaching positions at Juniata College and Ohio University, being hired there to teach voice to the MFA graduate actors under a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
