with Meg King
$25 Tuition • Ages 6-10
Due to increased social distancing practices, we are strictly limiting in-person workshop capacity. We are offering three sessions to choose from: 11:30am-12:30pm, or 1:00-2:00pm
Trolls just want to have fun! Join Peacock Players Resident Artist, Meg King (a.k.a. Lady Glittersparkels) as she shares her energetic and engaging choreography to music from the feature film Trolls. Workshop participants will put their hair in the air (like they just don’t care) and shake off those winter blues. Workshop participants are encouraged to dress up like their favorite Trolls and spend the day strengthening their dancing skills, while enjoying safe in-person time with their friends – and maybe even making a few new friends in the process.
Meg King has been dancing since age 3, and has studied tap, jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, lyrical, theatre dance, and hip hop. A fan of numbers, math, and science, she got her degrees in environmental engineering from the University of New Hampshire, but has always found her passion lies in dance. She has participated in the international dance festival Dance Excellence, as well as participated with Chicago Human Rhythm Project and #TapLifeToo guest teacher series. In addition to teaching dance classes, Meg has worked with youth and community theatre groups throughout southern New Hampshire as director, choreographer, and dance captain for various musicals and dance productions.
Mandatory COVID-19 safety procedures and policies will be in effect while participating during this Peacock Players In-Person Workshop (including but not limited to):
