August 15, 2021

After the devastating cancellation of our 2020 season, we have taken great pride in our continuing commitment to provide essential theatre arts engagement for our students and patrons. In addition, we are taking great care in planning a safe and an exciting 2021-2022 Season.

As the situation dictates, our plans are a continual work in progress. The safety of our patrons, students and staff is always our first priority, and that responsibility informs every aspect of our planning. We must ensure that the programming we provide will continue, in an ever-evolving situation, to meet the directives of public-health authorities. Our challenge is to mount a re-opening that conforms to the need for physical distancing and other pandemic-era realities, while still offering unparalleled theatrical experiences.

With every challenge comes opportunity. The pandemic has forced us to re-examine every assumption about our art, to explore every conceivable option, to ask ourselves profound questions about the essence of our work and the nature of the bond between our young artists and our audiences. Those are the kinds of challenges that spark innovation, adventure, and new creative energy.

As we look ahead to welcoming you back in this season, and to all the new possibilities this brings, we feel a great affinity toward our ever-growing Peacock Players Family.

We thank you for standing with us. We look forward to reopening, returning, and reuniting in the coming months… in whatever way that brings us back together safely and securely.

Sincerely,
Keith Weirich,
Artistic Director
