Biography

Cailey Blatchford graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry with a Minor in Recording. In addition, Cailey studied Vocal Performance at Ithaca College, in upstate New York.

Originally from Londonderry, NH, Cailey has had a deep passion for music and theatre her entire life. Cailey became involved in the performing arts at an early age, and has played a variety of roles on and off the stage. Credits include: Seussical, Guys and Dolls, The Wedding Singer, Footloose, Grease, and Rent. A vocalist and violinist, Cailey participated in a multitude of choral and vocal ensembles such as the New Hampshire Jazz and Classical Allstate vocal ensembles, Rising Harmony a cappella group, Ithaca College Women’s Chorale, and the Northeastern University Choral Society and Chamber Singers. She has been a member of orchestral ensembles including: the New Hampshire Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Londonderry High School String Orchestra, and the Northeastern University Symphony Orchestra.

Cailey has supported numerous theatrical productions and classical music performances in front of house operations, equipment management, as well as an active member on stage crews, pit orchestras, and on scenic construction teams. While living in Boston, Cailey had the opportunity to intern at the historic Wilbur Theater and serve as Promotions Coordinator, in addition to serving front of house and social media marketing operations for dozens of their live productions.

Cailey knows that theatre arts education creates lifelong enrichment and community engagement. She is extremely proud to be a part of Peacock Players, and to support our mission in proudly bringing color to life through theatre and education.
