The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn – as long as he keeps feeding it – blood. Seymour endeavors to discover that Audrey II not only has out of this world origins, but an intent towards global domination.

Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters including the mysterious mandrill Rafiki, his spunky lioness pal Nala, the charismatic meerkat Timon, and the loveably flatulent warthog Pumbaa. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pride lands, Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar.

Disney’s The Lion King Jr. features the classic Elton John and Tim Rice songs from the 1994 Disney film such as “Hakuna Matata”, “Circle of Life”, “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” and the Academy Award ® – winning “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” as well as several of the additional songs penned for the Broadway musical production.
