KINDER MUSICAL THEATRE

An introduction to the world of musical theatre through the magical musical world of Disney. Through group vocalization, healthy singing techniques, and fundamental music reading, KINDER MUSICAL THEATRE students will develop basic singing skills, explore various instruments, and strengthen self-esteem, while being encouraged to sing solo, as well as with other young artists from the Disney music anthology. KINDER MUSICAL THEATRE culminates in an exciting musical cabaret performance for friends and family.

YOUTHMUSIC

Explore the world of singing through current and classic Broadway standards. Through group vocalization, healthy singing techniques, and fundamental music reading, YOUTHMUSIC students will experience singing solo and ensemble numbers, becoming introduced to the ideas of harmony, rhythm, and notation. Students will also learn important performance techniques and have the opportunity to explore various types of instruments. YOUTHMUSIC culminates in an exciting musical theatre cabaret performance for friends and family.

AMERICAN IDOL
YOUTHMUSIC

Explore the world of singing like an American Idol contestant. Through group vocalization, healthy pop singing techniques, and fundamental music reading, YOUTHMUSIC students will experience pop singing in solo and ensemble numbers, becoming introduced to the ideas of harmony, rhythm, and notation. Students will also learn important performance techniques and have the opportunity to explore various types of instruments. YOUTHMUSIC culminates in an exciting musical theatre cabaret performance for friends and family.

MUSICAL THEATRE PROJECT with Sarah Evans
An exciting and intensive performance class for the young musical theatre actor. Students will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of a musical theatre production for their friends and family. Through score and script analysis, character development, and vocal technique, students will have the experience of creating and rehearsing a musical character with a cast of other young theatre artists. This is the perfect class for the young musical theatre actor that is ready to create a role and perform in front of a live audience.
- Mondays 6pm-7pm (10 weeks)

MUSICAL THEATRE PROJECT with Alex Giggey
An exciting and intensive performance class for the young musical theatre actor. Students will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of a musical theatre production for their friends and family.
