KINDERMUSIC THEATRE with Sarah Evans
An introduction to the world of singing through the incredible imagination of Dr. Seuss. Through group vocalization, healthy singing techniques, and fundamental music reading, KINDERMUSIC THEATRE students will develop basic singing skills, explore various instruments, and strengthen self-esteem, while being encouraged to sing solo, as well as with other young artists, from Dr. Seuss’ ever-growing musical anthology. KINDERMUSIC THEATRE culminates in an exciting musical cabaret performance for friends and family.

GROUP VOICE LAB with Sarah Evansimages-2
Group voice lab is an excellent opportunity for new singers to gain some basic knowledge and skills in a supportive, stress-free environment. Students who are unsure or unable to commit to long-term vocal study can still take a group voice lesson, gain a sense of whether or not voice lessons are for them, and learn a little something about good singing technique along the way. GROUP VOICE LAB students will experience singing in an ensemble, becoming introduced to the ideas of harmony, rhythm, and notation. Students will also learn important performance techniques and have the opportunity to explore various types of instruments. GROUP VOICE LAB culminates in an exciting musical performance for friends and family.

MUSICAL THEATRE PROJECT with Sarah EvansUnknown-1
An exciting and intensive performance class for the young musical theatre actor. Students will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of a musical theatre production for their friends and family. Through score and script analysis, character development, and vocal technique, students will have the experience of creating and rehearsing a musical character with a cast of other young theatre artists. This is the perfect class for the young musical theatre actor that is ready to create a role and perform in front of a live audience.

SIGHT-SINGING with Henry Kopczynskie IIIimages-20
Have you ever wanted to pick up a piece of sheet music and be able to read and sing it with confidence? Sight-singing, sight-reading, and aural training reinforces the vocalist’s skills through interval, melodic, harmonic and rhythmic dictation and performance. Through basic ear training skills and rhythmic exercises, students will strengthen both treble and bass clef reading and singing abilities. This is the perfect class for those who wish to audition for NHMEA All-State festival with confidence and experience – as well as all your upcoming musical auditions.
