MUSIC CLASSES

2014 FALL SEMESTER
Beginning the week of September 15th – 19th, 2014

MOMMY AND MEPrint
SING-A-LONG with MaryEllen Stevenson
Mommy and me classes are where children and parents learn to play together. Children are accompanied by a parent (or another grownup) for all classes. Class participants will enjoy a weekly “Good Morning/Welcome” song, explore popular sing-a-longs, movement, music-themed arts and crafts, and some social free-play. Structured group sing-a-long provides just the right amount of social activity to stimulate a toddler’s senses and help teach them valuable musical skills – all the while having fun together.
Thursdays 10am-11am [10 weeks]
Ages: 6 months – 3 years
Course # M101
Tuition: $150

GROUP VOICE LAB with Sarah Evansimages-2
Group voice lab is an excellent opportunity for new singers to gain some basic knowledge and skills in a supportive, stress-free environment. Students who are unsure or unable to commit to long-term vocal study can still take a group voice lesson, gain a sense of whether or not voice lessons are for them, and learn a little something about good singing technique along the way. GROUP VOICE LAB students will experience singing in an ensemble, becoming introduced to the ideas of harmony, rhythm, and notation. Students will also learn important performance techniques and have the opportunity to explore various types of instruments. GROUP VOICE LAB culminates in an exciting musical performance for friends and family.
Mondays [or] Fridays 4pm-5pm [10 weeks]
4th Grade – 6th Grade
Course #M301
Tuition: $150
