Program Biography Guidelines

Program bios may be submitted one of two ways: via email to tgrilli@peacockplayers.org (Preferable)
Or in writing to the Stage Manager.

Deadline for bios is three weeks prior to Opening Night.

Due to space limitations in the program, bios should be as succinct as possible.

Past shows and roles should be limited to a few favorites. If this is your 10th production, say that and details on your favorite two or three past shows and roles, but please do not expect that we can list all 10. If some of those favorites were with other companies, feel free to list them, but the same standards apply.

Feel free to thank your parents, special friends, etc. but please refrain from thanking the director, musical director etc. as it becomes repetitious (everybody wants to thank them) and they already know how wonderful they are because we pay them. J

Example Bio:

Tom Grilli (Grouch) – is making his debut with the Peacock Players. He is really old and no longer goes to school. Tom once appeared as the Grinch in the Crazy Cast Company’s rendition of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Other favorite roles include Darth Vader in Star Wars and Lex Luther in The Adventures of Superman. Tom would like to especially thank his wife for putting up with him all these years and his mom for forcing him to take six years of piano.

Thank you for your cooperation. Following these guidelines will make the process much smoother and lessen the possibility of errors that may result from editing.
